This refreshing aperitif cocktail features Strega, a minty and citrusy herbal liqueur from Italy. It will not only perk up the appetite, but the floral flavour that comes from being infused with over 70 different botanicals is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 50ml Strega Liqueur
- 25ml No. 3 vermouth
- 30ml fresh lemon juice
- 3 to 4 dashes of Bob's Orange and Mandarin Bitters
- Ice
Method
Combine the Strega, vermouth, lemon juice, and bitters in a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake vigorously until outside of shaker is cold and frothy, about 30 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass; garnish with lemon rind and serve immediately.
